Dr. Fangfei Liu is an Environmental Engineer at Geosyntec Consultants and holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Vanderbilt University. She applies her research background to translate fundamental contaminant behavior into practical engineering solutions. Her work focuses on environmental forensics, contaminant fate and transport, and utilizing the EPA Leaching Environmental Assessment Framework (LEAF) to evaluate release behavior and the effectiveness of treatment technologies for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and other contaminants.
